Carved Eggs 2.0

Carved eggs are a really old form of art that I'm new at, but I have learned what works for me.

Supplies

You'll need a diamond tipped tool, or Dremel, or similar. You also need a hollow egg, and a pencil, I like using a brush to dust it off so it's not slippery.

Draw Your Design

Draw the pattern on. Remember that if you plan on cutting deep it will break, so the pieces need to be spaced apart.

Cut It Out

Start by carving the outline, then shade the middle, cut as deep as you'd like, but remember, if you plan on cutting all the way through you either need a very fine tipped tool or a spaced out design. Brush it off regularly as you carve to keep it clean.

Clean It

To finish run water over the egg then set it out to dry.
