Carpet Coasters

I got some carpet samples from a home supply store and tested out the different piles to see how well they supported a glass of water. I paired one thick and one thin pile sample, then glued them together using wood glue. I spread the wood glue around the cardboard side of the carpet sample with a plastic utensil, then pressed the two samples together and let them sit for about 8 hours.

Hopefully they will not scratch surfaces and be a unique addition to people's usual decor.
