Cardboard Box Coffee Maker
How to make an emergency coffee maker at the office.
A hack to use when all fails and your beloved coffee maker breaks.
Materials and Tools
1. an empty A4-paper carboard box
2. an empty plastic bottle (preferably a firm one like coke)
3. cutting tool
4. pen
5. ruler
6. coffee filters
7. coffee powder
8. kettle
Cut the Box to Size
First measure the height of your cup.
Add 4cm, measure on your box and cut.
Cut off the front side too.
Turn your box and cut a cross midway into the top of the box.
Bottle
Cut off the bottom part of the bottle.
If it has rough edges, you can sand it a little (not nessesary)
Preparing Filter
Fit the filter into the bottle, fold it in so it fits.
Then put the bottle into the hole (the cross) you made before. You first have to push in the the cross. If the cross is too small cut it bigger.
Make Coffee
Put some coffee powder into the filter (one spoon for one cup).
Boil water and pour it into the filter too.
