Cardboard Desk Organizer

So here's my first Instructables post !

It is vital for me to keep things organized on my working desk - otherwise it bugs me and I have a hard time being creative and efficient. But if, just like me, you are on a pretty tight budget and have two hours ahead of you, the best I can do is explaining to you how to create this simple yet practical desk organizer.

What you will need :

- A large piece of cardboard (mine was 50 by 65 in centimetres)

- Optional : Coloured paper if you wish to customize the cardboard (I used yellow and white paper). Glue it cautiously on either/or one/ side of the carboard with enough liquid (or even better : spray adhesive)

- Liquid glue

- A cutter

- A ruler

- A pencil

You can customize my dimensions in order to adapt them to your own needs, like the size of your phone or what you plan to put in the organizer.

Keep in mind the thickness of your cardboard in your measuress - mine was 2mm thick - as it willl add to the height

The measures were calculated in accordance with the Fibonacci sequence to be visually harmonious.

Cut, cut, cut.

Start with the small modules at the centre, you will do the outer box at the end, to make sure everything fits in it.

Keep the pressure until it is sealed together (20 to 30 seconds)

You may now choose to keep the modules in the box, and take them out of it according to how you use it.

It's all up to you !

You may now use your desk organizer as you wish.
