Cardboard Robot Head
Have you wanted to make a simple robot helmet for fun? Well you will like this tutorial on how to make an easy, cheap, and fun cardboard robot helmet!
Body of Head
You need a cardboard box about 1 1/2 feet tall, a depth of about ten inches, and a width of about 11 1/2 inches.
Mouth Hole
Cut a rectangle where your mouth will be. It should have a width of 4 inches, and a height of 2 1/3 inches.
Mesh
Use any color mesh to cover your mouth slot. Put about two layers behind the slot and duct tape the mesh on the inside of the helmet. use about two layers of mesh two hide your mouth.
The Eyes
Use two round, red reflectors for the eyes. Use the sticky side to stick them to the helmet. give a reasonable height and width to make it look realistic.
Duct Tape
Use duct tape to stick the two boxes together. If you want you can make designs on your helmet like I did.
Head Slot
Make a hole just big enough for your head to fit inside. Mine had a diameter of 7 inches. Put this on the bottom of the helmet.
Duct Tape Pt. 2
Cover the edges of the hole with duct tape so it will not cut into your neck. To blend it in cover the surounding area in duct tape.
Wear It!!!!!
Use this helmet for parties and ther stuff!
