This organizer is made completely from trash. You could use it for anything from a desk organizer to a display for your artworks.

You can just have a layout of your organizer sketched on your cardboard base like the one I have shown. (I changed it though)

Making the Walls

Cut many strips from your cardboard measuring 3.5cm. This will be the height. You could have it as you want. Cut them to the required size according to your layout. Fix these strips on the base using glue.

For the intersections, I made slits of half length on the intersecting walls so that they fix into one another.

Wrapping Up

Now for wrapping, I cut squares out of the cardstock. I calculated the length and width of each compartment and added 3.5+3.5cm to each to cover up the walls. Sketch this on the cardstock and make cuts as I have shown. These cuts will help in formation of the box. Then I scored along the lines to form the box. I glued this box to the compartment.

Edges

For covering the edges, I cut paper strips and folded them, cut them according to the required size and glued it to the edges.

Finally

I used white paper since I was short of Colored paper. You can also cover the edges using Colored strips. I'll soon update it with the colored strips.
ENJOY :)
