Cardboard Life Size Crusader Knight
Assalm o alikuma!
I have a great interest in middle ages of Europe and Crusaders.
so today I will show you step by step how to make a life-size cardboard knight.
Supplies
1) lot of cardboard.
2)cutter blade
3)scissors
4)hot glue gun
Lower Region
the first and most important step is to make the lower region. It's simple to cut the lower region. its surface area will decide how thick or what would be its width.
Knight Thigh
it's every difficult part to build.
first, you have to calculate the diameter of the thigh.
then calculate the circumference of it by using the following formula
C=2πr
I also have cut out a circles of the same diameter to fit in the cylinder so that it retains its shape
Join Thigh and Lower Region
I have used hot glue to join all parts with each other
Legs
again repeat this process of cutting out legs this time circumference of the legs is 12inchs and their height is about 1.4 feet and after applying glue insert legs in the thigh and seal them with hot glue.
Chest
for this step cut out a plane and clean piece of cardboard. I am using 2 feet of the height of cardboard. and join them using small pieces of cardboard as shown in the second picture.
Chest Armour
cover all side as shown in the picture and remember that you have to slightly tilt the upper portion from all side
Helmet
the helmet is very simple and easy
diagram is present in pdf
Shield
use this as a reference to make crusader's hand shield.
LAST STEP
now in the last step put all cut out piece together and glue them
up till know, all important work is done you can add more detailing as you like
