Cardboard Guitar and Drum Set

We made a guitar and a drum out of Cardboard!

1. Cardboard
2. Bendable cardboard
3. Rubber Bands
4. Scissors or laser cutter
5. Hot glue gun
6. Skewers

On a laser cutter app, you will design a guitar outline like you can see on the image above. You will then laser cut it onto Cardboard.

Then, cut 2 long pieces of cardboard. Make sure they're bendable, because you'll need to fit them around the base of the guitar.

Next, glue the strips onto the base to give your guitar height.

After, hot glue the top of the guitar on.

Then, you will laser cut 6 semi circles and glue them onto the neck of the guitar that you laser cut on step 1.

Over the bridge, place a bendable piece of cardboard so that you cannot see the cardboard semi circles. Finally bend the remaining handle of the neck upwards.

After that, glue the neck onto the guitar.

Then, laser cut a tiny bridge and glue it onto the guitar.

Take your wooden skewers, cut them at about an inch to an inch and a half each and glue them onto the neck of the guitar. Then, use a sharpie to draw dots between skewers to add detail.

Then poke 4 holes into the head of the guitar and put 1/2 inch skewers in each of them. Repeat this for the bridge.

Finally, attach rubber bands across the skewers on the head and bridge of the guitar and your guitar is done!

The Drum is simple. Take two circles of carboard and one large rectangle of bendable cardboard.

Slowly wrap the bendable carboard around both circles while applying hot glue. Then let the glue dry!
