Cardboard File Holder
Hello! This instructable shows you how to make a file or magazine holder (or whatever you want to call it!) It is great for storing paper and books upright and will prevent them from falling over or getting lost.
Supplies
- cardboard
- craft knife
- ruler
- pencil
- hot glue gun
First, start by cutting the base. It can be any size but make sure the length of it is longer than the width of a standard piece of paper.
Cut the sides. These will need to be slightly longer than the base with the width of a piece of cardboard extra on the front side.
Cut the back of the file holder. Make sure that it is slightly longer than the shorter side of the base that we cut at the start. You can also cut a hole in the back so that the file can be easily picked up but this is not essential.
Assemble the pieces together like in the photo above using hot glue. Make sure to use a lot of hot glue so the file doesn't fall apart easily.
Add a small piece of cardboard to the front. This piece needs to the same width as the base.
And you are done! Thanks for reading this instructable!
