Cardboard Desk Organizer

This is how to make a side desk organizer for school. Of course, you can change the measurements to make it fit anywhere else, but it'll need a rod of some sort to hang onto. It can hold writing utensils, a calculator, rulers, but heavy weights will make it too backwards and everything will spill out.

  • 42x36 cm cardboard
  • utility knife
  • measuring tool
  • pencil

This is how the stencil should look, and these are the dimensions I used. You can make changes to the measurements to suit your preference.

  1. Insert a pencil between the flutes where the top of the liner board meets the flutes. It's shown circled in red in the third picture.
  2. The liner board and flutes should come off easily, but if they don't, repeat step one with a different flute.

Cut through the liner board and the flutes in the red-circled areas. Make sure you don't cut through all 3 layers of the cardboard.

  1. It should fold if you lightly cut through the liner board 12 times. Make sure the flutes aren't cut.
  2. As seen in the first image, cut through all three layers on the bottom.
