If you have wire shelves or open ended bookshelves and want a quick easy solution for keeping your books neat and organized this could be for you!

The Box

If you're anything like me you have tons of boxes. This old diaper box was already filled with books that I want to put on shelves so it was a logical choice for me but you could use any box that will suit your needs. Tape it shut on all sides and you are ready to begin.

Supplies

Besides the box you will need:
Carpenter's (razor) knife
Metal straight edge
Packing tape

Cut the Ends

Tape down any loose parts to strengthen the box. Put it on your shelf and get organizing.

If you want you can decorate your book box, paint it, cover it with duct tape or shelf paper, whatever you like! Since mine is going to be in the basement where only I will see it I'm leaving mine plain. (for now)
