Birds always look for safest place to build nest, so i just helped them to give safest place.

1, Place a cardboard and keep the jar above cardboard and rotate the jar along with cardboard.

2, By doing this we can find out how much cardboard is needed for doing this nest box

3, I took the measurement as length - 40 inch and breadth - 30 inches

1, After measuring the required cardboard, we need to make arrangements for closing both the ends for that we need to draw and cut the cardboard as shown in above image.

2, Refer image 5 after cutting the cardboard it will look as shown in image.

3, Draw a circle to cut the entry point for birds.

Secure the Bottom Side With Glue

1, Once Cutting is over we need to place the jar and roll the cardboard to make it as cylinder and attach both the ends with Glue.

2, To make it even strong we can secure it with tape Refer image 2.

3, Now we need to secure the bottom side of the cylinder, Gather all the sharp edge of the cardboard and bend it towards the Jar and Keep a paper on top of jar and apply glue. Refer image 3, 4, 5

4, Gently bend all the Sharp edges of cardboard in to the glued paper and press it for a minute so that it gets attached to paper.

5, Apply glue on the bottom part of cardboard and paste a circled paper so that the cardboard is secured with paper at both sides. Refer image 6, 7

6, again secure the bottom side of cylinder with Tape. Refer image 8

Secure the Top Side With Glue

1, Before securing the Top side cut a circle so that birds will enter the nest through that hole. Refer image 1

2, Remove the jar out from the cardboard and gently bend the top ends one by one. Refer image 2, 3, 4, 5,6.

3, Apply glue on top of the cardboard Fingers one by one and attach it refer image 7, 8, 9, 10.

4, Once we Glued all the fingers it will look like image 10

5, Take some paper strips and glue it on top the Cylinder to secure the opening. Refer image 11, 12, 13, 14

Make Hole for Inserting a Bark

20210405_193620.jpg
20210405_193626.jpg
20210405_193652.jpg

1, We need to make a small hole on both sides to insert the wooden Bark for birds to sit on it.

2, Instead of inserting bark on front side i just kept it on sides of the Entry point.

Paste the Dry Leaves All Over the Cardboard.

20210405_195843.jpg

1, We need to make this nest as Eco-friendly so i pasted a dry leaf everywhere on the cardboard.

2, By pasting the dried leaves will give you a good texture and there is 90% chance that birds love to build its nest inside it.

Adding More Texture

20210405_231855.jpg
20210405_232648.jpg
20210405_232657.jpg

1, To add even more Texture and realistic look i just cut the dried leaves very finely with scissors. Refer image 1 and 2

2, Apply Glue on top of the Box and just apply the dried leaves on top of it and press it gently. Refer image 4,5, 6, 7, 8.

3,Now i have just applied it only at top and bottom side if you want you can apply this technique all over the nest box.

Add the Wooden Barks

20210405_233210.jpg
20210405_233217.jpg

1, Already we had made holes for wooden bark.

2, Insert the wooden bark in to that hole like image 3

3,Apply glue to the hole so that the wooden bark gets attached strongly to the cardboard. Refer image 4

After Adding Wooden Bark

1, After adding the dry leaves and wooden bark it will look like this. See image above.

Hang the Nest Box With Wire

20210406_120600.jpg
20210406_120606.jpg

1, Take a peice if Binding wire and wrap it from the bottom as shown in image 1, 2.

2, Twist the four ends of the wire at the top and leave the ends so that it can be used to tie in the plants, balcony, windows etc. Refer image 4, 5

20210407_130409.jpg

This is the Final outcome which looks so beautiful.

All of sudden birds wont build nest inside it, definitely it will take time. so be patience and wait for the right moment to be occupied.

Its summer time so all birds are in need of water and safe place so please have some nests and water placed in and around your garden.

Thank you friends Bye.
