Today, I’ll be showing you how to make a cardboard banana. This method of making the banana can also be used for other fruit so you can use them in any other ideas.

Supplies

1 large sheet of scrap cardboard ( I got mine from the back of a chip box)
Scissors
Pencil for tracing
Fruit of choice ( obviously I used a banana)
Glue (optional)

Tracing

Trace your fruit on to your sheet of cardboard using a pencil. Then make 7 evenly spaced mars outside the banana.

Cutting

In order for this model to be 3d we must cut the banana at the previously marked spots and the trace around each cut on the cardboard. You may need to tightly wrap a paper towel around the banana so the cardboard doesn’t stain

Cutting Out Cardboard

Now cut out all of the circles and the tracing you did it of the banana.

Cut lines for your circles on not the traced banana and slide in the circles( you may need to glue these) and then wait for it to dry. Once it dries you will be the proud owner of a cardboard banana.
