Cardboard Automata Box

I made a cardboard automata box with some tape, glue, and 3d printed parts. I did this because I thought it would be an interesting challenge.

Materials used: Cardboard, 3D printer, tape, hot glue, and a laser printer.

Laser and 3D Printing

Your first step will be to use the file attached to laser print all the cardboard pieces. Along with 3D printing the handle and shaft pieces.

Cutting

First, you will have to bend the cardboard in the right way, I recommend cutting it with scissors first to let it bend more easily. Then you have to hot glue it to make sure it keeps its form.

Taping

Now that you have everything assembled you will have to put tape around the circles to reduce friction.

Now with all your pieces ready, you put all of them together to create something similar to this. Also, you can put whatever design you want on the cardboard pieces to possibly create something cool.
