Caramel Spice Cake
This warm winter cake includes different spices that hit the spot on a cold rainy day. This is a quick and easy one-bowl recipe that will fill your house with warming aromas

INGREDIENTS
- 1 large egg, room temperature, beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2/3 cup cold water
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Whipped cream/vanilla ice cream

Combine Wet Ingredients
- In a large bowl combine egg, sugar, molasses, butter, and water

2. Add the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, and salt to the bowl. Stir well.

Put the Batter in the Oven
3. Line your tray with parchment paper, and with the help of a spatula pour the batter into the tray.

4. Bake at 350° until the skewer comes out clean and the top is nice and golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Cut into squares; serve warm with caramel sauce and whipped cream/ vanilla ice cream.
