Supplies

Golden Ribbon: A decorative, wide golden ribbon or fabric strip.

Peacock Feather: A single peacock feather (morpankh).

Black Tassel/Thread: A small bunch of black threads or a small tassel.

Hot Glue Gun & Glue Sticks: For assembling the parts.

Decorative Gems:

  1. One medium-sized red rhinestone (kundalini).
  2. A strip of small, white, self-adhesive pearl beads.

Scissors (not shown but necessary for cutting the ribbon).

Create the Turban Base

  1. Cut and Fold: Take a piece of the golden ribbon. Fold one end over to create a pointed, conical shape, as seen at.
  2. Glue the Cone: Apply hot glue along the edge and press it down to secure the cone shape. This will form the main part of the turban.

Create the Fan Crest

  1. Pleat the Ribbon: Take another piece of golden ribbon. Fold it back and forth in an accordion style to create neat pleats.
  2. Secure the Pleats: Pinch one end of the pleated ribbon together tightly. You can secure this with a dab of hot glue or by wrapping it with a thin thread.
  3. Form the Fan: Gently spread the other end of the pleated ribbon to form a fan shape.

Assemble the Turban

img (2).png
  1. Attach the Crest: Apply hot glue to the pinched bottom of the fan crest.
  2. Combine: Carefully press the glued end of the fan crest onto the side of the cone-shaped base you made earlier. You now have the basic turban structure.
  3. Attach the Feather: Take your peacock feather (which should already have the black tassel attached to its base). Apply a generous amount of hot glue to the base of the feather.
  4. Insert the Feather: Insert the glued end of the feather into the back opening of the turban, securing it to the inside.

Add the Final Decorations

  1. Add the Centerpiece: Glue the red rhinestone onto the front of the turban, slightly off to the side on the conical part.
  2. Add Pearl Details: Peel the small white pearl beads from their adhesive sheet and arrange them in a flower pattern around the central red stone.
