Canvas LMS Snowflake Ornament

This was a little project I put together to celebrate the edTech/Makespace connection with co-workers in 2019.
The Illustrator file contains the pieces needed for laser cutting the snowflake from wood or white acrylic. The Canvas logo insets should be red acrylic.
Feel free to modify to your favorite company logo!

Step 1: Modify Files

The files are quick enough to modify. If you are going to cut these in two colors, you will want to have the inset cut on one sheet and the snowflake cut on another.
Try increasing the size of the inset just slightly to account for the laser kerf.

Step 2: Cut and Assemble

The cutting will work according to your own laser cutter.
Depending on your laser kerf, press fitting the two cuts together should be possible for no-mess assembly. Otherwise, a drop of glue should be more than enough.
Tie a little ribbon and share with your friends.
