Here's what you will need to make it:

  • Mod Podge
  • large paint brush or foam brush

First, research and print out a copy of your favorite candy label. I chose Skittles, because I just love the rainbow colors!

Lay the printable facedown on your work surface, and place the front cover of the composition notebook on top of it. Then, use your pencil to trace around the cover. Once you've done that, cut out the image.

Brush on a layer of Mod Podge, and place the image on top of the cover. Then, add more Mod Podge on top of that to seal. Let dry completely. Then, once dry completely, cut away any excess paper that might hang out along the edge.

Done!

This colorful, delicious idea is great for gifts and for back to school! Again, I chose Skittles, just because I love the rainbow colors throughout the design. However, you can also choose other candy labels, like M&M's, Reese's, and even Hershey's.
