Camping Cart

A simple modification so you can use a bike trailer to hall, gear or something you need. I'm going to use it to go camping and haul my gear..

The things you need are,
cart/kids bike trailer,
fanny pack or something similar,
10 feet of emt conduit,
2 bolts ( or 4 u bolts ) with nuts,
2 eye bolts with nuts,
2 carabiner,
webbing,
hammer,
hack saw,
and a drill.

So you need to decide how long you want your poles, my emt was 10 feet, so I just cut it in half.
On one end of emt I put a eye bolt, I put 2 nuts on the the end of the bolt and tightened the nuts together.
Then put the bolt in the end and hammer the the end of the conduit down to hold the bolt.
Repeat for other side.

At the other end of conduit, I drilled a 1/4 in hole. I put my holes 5 in from end. Fortunately I was able to put my emt right into the frame of the trailer.
If I were not able to I would of had used u - bolts (I'm going to have to do that with my other trailer).
Then I drilled a hole in trailer, then I was able to just put 1 bolt on each side.

I had this bag so I just tried it on.
I was able to just clip the carabiner to the pack, but as a safety I ran a piece of webbing though the pouch on the pack. and also ran that to the carabiner.

My kids are testing it out pulling each other around, and I'm going to use it camping.
