Camper Van Under Bed Bed Pull-out Steps

Underbed Pull out Steps for Campervan.

Assumes use of 15 mm wooden board (adjust measurements if using different wood)

Fitted to floor using Heavy Duty 450mm draw runners.

Approx weight is 15Kg if made with ply wood.

With removable tops, provides a large amount of additional storage.

15mm wooden board (Plywood)

34 x 34 mm wooden support bars (185mm long) X2

Heavy Duty 450mm draw runners.

Cut out the wood as shown above.

Assemble the steps as shown above.

The Top step and the lower step are not screwed down. This provides access to the inside of the step for storage.

Mount two 450mm heavy duty draw runners to the steps and the floor so they can easily be slid out from under the bed.

A door can be fitted to hide the steps when not in use.

Also, the steps can be finished off with some carpet to make them feel nicer on bare feet.
