Camera Strap From Rope

I really wanted to have a good looking strap for my camera, but the ones you can get online either don't suit me or are really expensive. That's why I made my own.

The camera strap is really easy to make, very comfortable and it costs less than 5$.

Let's make it!

Supplies

Resources:

rope (around 1.1m)

yarn (around 1.5m)

2 carabiners

Tools:

lighter

scissors

Cut the rope to size and use a lighter to slightly melt the ends.

Thread the rope through the eyelet of the carabiner and fold it over.

Knot the yarn to one side of the rope. Don't cut the short side of yet!

Next, wrap it around both sides of the rope 6-8 times.

Tighten it by pulling the yarn parallel to the rope a few times (as in the picture).

Knot both ends of the yarn thogether, cut them of and melt the ends.

Repeat on the other side.

Done!
