Cable Organizer V1 Concept

This model is an attachment for you desk that can organize your cables. This is placed at the back of your desk and side different sized cables through.

Supplies

  • Auto desk Inventor

Measurements

Measure the side of your desk that this piece will go. Make a rectangle 1in high and 6in wide. Make a space in the center of the rectangle for it to fit in the desk with the measurements that you took. Feel free to adjust to meet your needs.

Extrude

Next Extrude the two parts, extrude the top by 1.3 in and the bottom by 1in.

New Sketch

Then start a new sketch on a new plane above the two slabs. Make a rectangle connecting to the top slab with the same width size and a 2in depth. Curve the corners using the fillet tool by 1.75.Next add circles of 1.7 1 and 0.7 depth for different sized cables in which ever way you want.

Extrude

Finally extrude the rectangle and leave the circles empty and extrude it by 1in. Now your done.
