Cable Clip

I created a cable clip that you screw under your desk. This allows you to keep your cables tucked up against the desk and neat. The dividers help keep the cables in place and help you to know which cable is which. The outer cable clip allows you to put a wire there that you know will be moved soon. For example, the laptop charger that you have to move every day allows you still keep it tidy and neat so you don't trip on it but is easy to remove when you need to leave.

Supplies

You need

  1. 3D Printer
  2. 3D Print Filament
  3. 2 Screws
  4. Screw Driver

Load STL Into Tinkercad

Go into Tinkercad and add the STL file attached to Instructables. Once you are in a Tinkercad 3D design hit the import button in the top right side, then choose your STL file and import that into Tinkercad. Now that you have the design in Tinkercad you are able to change how it looks. Once you are fine with the design hit export and hit the .stl button.

Go Into Your Slicer Software

Enter into your slicer software for the 3D printer you are using. Once you are in the software find a button that says import. Once you do that you must import the .stl file that you made in Tinkercad. After you imported the design, check to make sure it is how you want it to be. Then you slice the design and put it into your 3D printer, this allows you to print the design you created. Once on the 3D printer select the filament you want and Print!!!

Once the print is done, take it out of the printer and find a place to put it. I would recommend putting it at the back of your desk to hide the cables. Once you have found a place screw in the finished product via the two screw holes on the flat side of the print.
