COZY CABIN SLIPPERS, in 4 Easy Steps

These simple knit slippers will keep your feet nice and cozy. All you need is a cup of hot cacao and a (virtual) fireplace to get the full experience of Winter! These slippers are made in size medium. For smaller or larger sizes just increase or decrease the given number of stitches in the cast on. For a thicker fabric, double up on the yarn.
Supplies
Materials: acrylic yarn, worsted (I used Universal Uptown)
Knitting needles sz. 7 (straight or circular)
Yarn needle
Scissors
Cast On

Cast in 28 stitches on #7 needles using your preferred method.
For a nice edge - Row 1: knit into back of first stitch, knit to last stitch, yarn forward, slip last stitch off needle. Repeat.
Slipper Body

Knit every row in garter stitch (knit every row) until 5 inches have been completed.
Slipper Toe

Toe: A. Continue knitting in knit 1/purl 1 rib for 3 inches
B. Toe Decrease: Row 1: knit 2 together across
Row 2: knit
Row 3: as Row 1
Row 4: knit
Finishing

Break yarn and thread needle. Fold slipper in half. Sew up toe section. Thread needle again with loose end at cast on edge and sew up back of slipper.
Now, make another one and viola! you have a pair of cozy Cabin Slippers
