CONTINUITY TESTER

This project is for the tests of AWG - THW - AND OTHER Cables to measure the continuity of these and also for the direct and inverse measurements of semiconductor diodes, leds, etc.

Here we will see the simulation of our project and we will make the circuit to be used, which is a CABLE - DIODE CONTINUITY TESTER.

In the image we can see that we tested a 1N4007 semiconductor diode in its direct and inverse test, resulting in a successful test thanks to the design of our circuit.

This circuit is implemented using transistors, resistors, a led diode and a capacitor. The operation is very easy to appreciate since in a direct conduction, either testing a diode or a cable, this will turn us on, giving continuity and making our led turn on, which will verify that it is conducting. In the case of the diode, it has two tests in the reverse test. It should not turn on since it does not let the positive current pass to the base of the first transistor and therefore it will not drive the transistors and it will not turn on our led.

Here we will be able to observe the design in the Easyeda Software for the creation of the PCB, this is a very professional software and we will be able to find all our components that we will need for this project.

In the images, once we have simulated it, we will carry it out on a very professional board thanks to JLCPCB (https://jlcpcb.com/RAV) and we will see the 3D design of how our PCB will look and we will also see the PCB tracks.
