COLORED LEAVES LAMP

IMG_0636.JPG

In this project I decided to make a leaves lamp. At the beginning we wanted to make a halloween lamp but when we glued the leaves I thought to paint the leaves purple. The lamp shade was very difficult because we didn't have special glue for the leaves. In spite of everything this project was very fun.

The lamp was very ugly. We need to cut the plastic shade.

We didn't have a special glue for the leaves so glueing took a long time. One trick is to use clothes pegs to hold the leaves.

Paint the Base

We painted the base with two layers of white. The next day we covered the white base with pink, purple and blue dots.

We painted the leaves purple .We removed the excess paint with a rubberband on the cup.

Put Together

We put together the parts of the lamp.First we checked the light bulb socket to see if it works. It didn't work, so we unpluged the lamp and took the socket apart with a screwdriver. The metal conector wasn't touching the bulb. Then we repaired it by bending it.
