CNC PC Hardware Holders (update)
Our CNC PC (at Fablab Waag) had its keyboard and mouse on a little cabinet.
This was very impractical and we decided to do something about it.
Fitting a System to Hang the Keyboard and Mouse Set-up
The aluminium arm was already in place.
I used a Stud to secure bolts at both ends of an hollow pipe. Add some rings under the bolts to keep it from falling through. The metal plate (to which the hardware holding elements are bolted) bended at your desired angle should go between the stud and the bottom bolt. See bottom of the last picture.
Making a Construction
I used metal connector plates.
Bend them by hand using a table clamp (true craftsmanship ikr) and secure them with nuts and bolts.
Make the Supports for Your Stuff
I used a Shopbot milling machine to mill these parts.
The files can be found in the last step.
Paint (if You Want) and Finish
Just use some spray paint.
Or something environmentally friendly :)
This Is the File I Made for the Mouse
These Are the Keyboard Settings
You will be done with these forms in under an hour.

Extra Steps (Hide the Cables and Metal Arm)
This was just for the fun of it and it reinforces the weak and wobbly aluminium arm.
The original stick figure artwork is designed by *Matias Porta Lezcano, ES* and i worked on it a bit.
Extra Steps (give the Headphones a Place to Hang Out)
You can draw this part in your CAM program. It's really doable. Or just use a pencil, saw, chisel and hammer.
