CNC Bit Holder

I have a CNC machine and I use a lot of different bits but I really neglected to make something decent to hold them in. The beat up old container wasn't cutting it.

Design

The old plastic container needed to go. I used Vectric Aspire to do the design. It's approximately 5"x5"x1". Each hole is 3/4" deep and allows the bits to sit comfortably. The design was easy and only took about 5 minutes to do.

Cutting & Finish

I used some scrap wood. It only took about 5 minutes to cut. It works great! No more lost bits and no more shuffling through a pile of bits. You could cut this by hand. Its just a series of holes drilled in the block. I have attached a vector file of the design to use as a guide. However if you have a CNC machine and Aspire, here is a link to the CNC Holder File.
