CD MASK

Steps I followed to make paper clay mask.

1. Paper Mache
2. Newspaper
3. Cello tape
4. Water
5. Clay tools
6. Paint
7. Mask stand

1. Make a newspaper base for mask
2. Use cello tape to stick it for it not to move while working on it.

Make paper clay to rough mask shape and on the newspaper base.

Make holes for eyes and mouth.

Make nose, eyebrows, moustache and use little water to stick it.

Use water to smooth the mask surface and adding some design below the eyes using clay tool.

Let it to dry to harden it.

Put white varnish on mask and let it dry.

And painting can be done.

I thought of painting yellow and blue to different sides of mask.

Brown to nose, pink to eyebrows, black to moustache.

Made a stand and keep the mask on it.
