C4U-7 is a medical droid that specializes in surgical operations. It can float in the air hovering over a patient, using its 8 arms to treat an injured patient, no matter the species. Its arms are fit with several types of extremely adroit fingers, enabling it to treat any type of injury under any circumstances, even under fire. It has three X-ray capable sensors for detecting a patient's bio signs and extent of injury. To console and communicate with a patient, like the famous protocol droid C3PO, C4U-7 can speak millions of languages. Its internal computer holds the most advanced medical knowledge, database, and research journals. It has the most sensitive hearing in order to respond to calls of medic in a battle field.
C4U-7 saved countless lives during numerous battles between rebels and empires. As a medical droid, it's obliged to save any injured warriors including stormtroopers, even though it may get shot at by them.
During designing C4U-7, I focused the most on the arms and fingers as they are critical to perform operations. I fit one C4U-7 with 8 arms, so it can do a job of a team of doctors and nurses. Their body Is small, so they can fit in a tight space. Two or more C4U-7 can operate together on one patient if the injury is very extensive. Once a patient is stabilized, it can use its 8 arms to pick up a patient, hold them in comfort and float they back to a hospital transport for further treatment or incubation.
