Butterfly Hanging Decor

This butterfly decor is perfect for hanging anywhere around the house, office, or a bedroom! It is very easy and simple to make. The steps follow..
Supplies
For this butterfly decor, you will need..
1. Tape
2. printer
3. thread and needle
4.scissors
5. Markers/pens
Step 1: Find Butterfly

First go online and find a butterfly design you like. Personally I searched up "butterfly design" and many options popped up.
Step 2: Print

Once you have found a design you truly like, print the image out.
Step 3: Color

Now you should have a non colored butterfly outline. If you are planning on making more than one butterfly, you may use a light box or window to trace the butterfly outline on another paper. If not, you can start to color the butterfly just like shown above.
Step 4: Cut

After you have colored the image to your desire, take the scissors and cut out the butterfly. *BE CAREFUL AROUND TINY EDGES*
Step 5: Tread Needle

Since the butterfly is colored you should put it to the side because it is not needed currently. Take your needle and tread that was mentioned before and tread the needle.
Step 6: Knot Thread

Now that the hardest part of threading the needle is over, you should knot the needle once and then another time. But, make sure that they are not overlapping.
Step 7: Part 1 of Threading Butterfly

First, take the needle and push it into the side wing of the butterfly, just next to the head.
Step 8: Part 2 of Threading Butterfly

After pushing into the wing, fold the wings together and push the needle into both of them as shown above.
Step 9: Part 3 of Threading Needle

After the two wings are "Connected" Repeat step 8 two to three times. After that is done, knot the thread.
Step 10: Cut the Leftover Thread.

The tread should be knotted and the next step is to cut it. Leave about 1/2 an inch of thread.
Step 11: Tape

Since there is a leftover part of thread you should take your tape from beforehand and attach it to the thread.
Step 12: Final Part

The final step is to attach the butterfly anywhere using the tape.
