Butter Boiled Corn

I got two bags full of corn from a friend and tried roasting first, which was good, but I think I got the best reviews from this butter boiled corn that I took to a party with friends.
Ingredients

You will need:
8-9 ears of corn
1 cup of milk
1 stick of butter
1/2 a pot of water
Boil Water

Bring the water to a boil.
Shuck the Corn

While the water comes to a boil shuck the corn removing as much silk ask possible. Wash off the corn and cut off any bad places. I broke the ears in half for my party.
Add Milk

Add one cup of milk to your water once it starts to boil.
Add Butter

Add the butter and let it come to a boil too.
Add the Corn and Simmer

Add the corn and turn the temperature down to a simmer. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool and Serve

Remove from the heat and serve. No need to add butter. It's all buttery already.
