Bunny Ears Figure Eight Knot

This makes an attractive, secure double loop knot.
The knots origins are in SAR and mountain climbing.

Fold cord in half and bring loop end under and back over the standing part.

Bring loop end down through the bight (this makes the figure eight).

Bring loop end up through the eight making two small bights.

Fold loop end down around the small bights.

Bring loop end over to the left.

Pull on the two bights. Adjust the position of the cords in the knot so they lie in position as you tighten the knot.
