Bumper plates are expensive! Broken and loose collars are annoying!
I used 2.5lbs plates to repair the collar of my old plates.
Supplies:
spare weights... 2.5lbs plates sells for $1.99 at Academy
bolts/nuts/washers
drill/bits... my 3/8 drill did not cut it, switched to 1/2 drill.
bench vice, not necessary but helps
hammer and elbow grease
Enjoy
