We had a project on recycling and i did if ammo for guns are recyclable and they are and a did a clock with a piece of wood and bullets for the numbers example 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 it is very important to recycle cause if you don't our plant will die

Supplies

12 bullets and a piece of wood

the next step is snading it down. i started at a low grit and every 10 mins i changed to a higher grit of sand paper that way it becomes very smooth and not rough.

i took a torch and burnt it and then sanded it again to get the wood grains to pop out and it worked it is amazing time taker and very good project to do.

Polyurethane

then i coated it with polyurethane and that way it would not crack as much cause if you seal it it does not have room to crack

Putting the Clock Motor in the Clock Itself

So first I made sure the hole in the center of the wood was big enough to have the clock motor to go through it and then you have to cut the square box out of the back of the wood and then bolt it on there that way the motor wont fall out. and then you put the clock hands on it.
