I was interested in this really nifty bird feeder, but it didn't fit in my budget. It became my inspiration for this project and I wondered if I could put together something similar utilizing low-cost materials or thrift store items.

These are the materials I used, but you can certainly use other items or do things differently.
- 2 half-circle trays (or a circle-shaped tray cut in half)
- flexible clear acrylic sheet
- glue
- pool noodle
- paint or other decorative covering
- plastic bottle with cap
Tools - These are the tools I used, but you can improvise or do things differently based on what you have available.
- Drill
- Hole saw
- Tin snips
- Straight-edge
- Utility knife
- Sewing tape (aka Tailor's tape)
- Dry-erase marker
- Tape
- Paint brush
Opening - required
- A single-hung or double-hung window
