Bucket Buddy
The Bucket Buddy is a two person carrying system fabricated for individuals performing vocational tasks that involve lifting heavy containers or buckets. This distributes the weight of the bucket and its contents between the two users, effectively reducing overall load bearing and stress on an individual's body while promoting safe body mechanics.

- Drill (with a 1/4" drill bit)
- Jigsaw (with a wood cutting blade)
- Sanding Block
Materials with Measurements:

- 1 Bolt (1/4")
- 2 Nut (1/4")
- 2 Lock Washers
Before You Begin
Carefully read the instructions and ensure that you have all the required tools, materials, and correct measurements before you start building the device. Always wear protective gear when working with tools.
Outline the shape of the device on your plywood using the measurements provided in the Step 2 Diagram.
Cut the plywood, by following your outline, using a jigsaw.
Use a round over bit with a router, or laminate trimmer, to round the sharp corners on all edges of the plywood. Follow up with lightly sanding the surfaces.
To prepare for the middle hook piece; measure out and mark the center of the Bucket Buddy from both the vertical and horizontal directions.
Drill a hole at the marked point with the 1/4in drill bit. Then take the 1/4in bolt, with a washer attached, and feed it through the hole.
Finally, attach the J-hook to the bolt and finish the piece by installing the second washer and nut set to lock in the J-hook.
