1/2 cup of canola oil or vegetable oil (120 mL)

2 large eggs

1 tsp of vanilla extract (5 mL)

1/4 tsp of baking powder (1.5 g)

First let's preheat our oven to 350 degrees F. (177 C) Next we will mix our sugar with our oil. We are only using a wooden spoon, to mix, we will not be using an electric mixer, it is too easy to over mix the batter.

Add Vanilla Extract and Eggs

Next we will add our vanilla extract and our 2 large eggs, then give it a good stir.

Add Dry Ingredients

Now we take our dry ingredients and add them to the mix. I am using a sifter here. but you can combine them in a separate bowl before adding if you don't have or don't want to use a sifter. Then stir it all together.

Add Chocolate Chips

Now we add our chocolate chips. If you want it to be full of chocolate flavor, add the whole bag or about 12 ounces worth. Feel free to mix it up and use butterscotch, semi-sweets, or white chocolate chips. I like milk chocolate the best, so I am using those here.

Pour Batter Into Greases Pan

Next we pour our yummy batter into a 7x11 or 9x9 inch pan, if you want to use a 9x13 inch pan go ahead and double the recipe. Make sure to use a spatula to get all the rest of the batter from the bowl

Bake It

Next we give the pan a little shake to get it all nice and flat, then put it in the oven and bake it for about 20 minutes. Once it is done, let it cool for about 20 to 30 minutes. This way when you cut into it, it will keep its shape.

Add Toppings

Now we need to finish it off. You can add powdered sugar, frosting, sprinkles, whatever you like for the top, or just eat plain. Maybe add the brownie to a bowl and add some vanilla ice cream...yummy!

This simple ingredient, inexpensive brownie mix will sure to be a household favorite! Give it a try! Enjoy!
