Baking tray, baking parchment, 225g butter, 350g of milk chocolate, 4 eggs, 350g light muscovado sugar, 150 ml of milk, 225g self-rising flour.
1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
1. Melt chopped up 225g of butter and broken up 225g of milk chocolate in a bowl placed over hot water until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
1. Break eggs into a mixing bowl, add 350g of sugar, 150ml of milk, and the melted milk and butter mixture, and beat with a wooden spoon to combine. Sift in flour and mix until smooth.
1. Pour the brownie mixture into the baking tray lined with baking parchment and bake for 45-50 minutes or until well risen and cooked in the middle. Leave to cool, then cut into 12 squares.
