Brownie in a Mug

If you want to make a sweet treat after school that is safe and does not need a ton of ingredients, this is for you. This recipe uses a microwave to bake the brownie and it only takes a couple of minutes. I hope you have fun making this.

Supplies

  2. Flour
  3. Cocoa powder
  4. Salt
  5. Small whisk
  6. Fork
  7. Chocolate chips
  8. Vegetable oil
  9. Milk
  10. Vanilla
  11. Measuring spoons
  12. 2 Cups
  13. Peanut butter
  14. Recipe

Oil the Mugs

Oil the mugs with a pastry brush.

Mix Dry Ingredients

Put in the mug: 3 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips.

Adding the Wet Ingredients

Add in 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 3 tablespoons milk, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Mix Everything Together

Stir together with a whisk. Equally divide the batter into 2 mugs

Add Peanut Butter

If you want, you can put a little scoop of peanut butter in the middle of the dough in each cup.

Add Chocolate Chips

Sprinkle a little handful of chocolate chips on top of both of the cups.

Microwave

Put both mugs in the microwave for 45 seconds. Cook for 45 seconds more.

Final Reflection

I really liked making this. I plan on making this again, but I don't know if I would add the peanut butter again. It is a safe snack for different ages to make, with no parents needing to watch. Something I would suggest would be to double the recipe if making for 2 people. This was not quite enough.
