Brown Fantastic Sustainable House

Hi my name is Morgan, I completed this project because I really enjoyed building my house! The purpose of this project was too learn how to build a sustainable house. I built my house by using cardboard and trying to make a house out of it. My home was too be a sustainable house for the temprate grasslands.

Some tools people might need to use is cardboard, and a box cutter.

• The biome I had was temprate grasslands. Temperate grasslands are areas of open grassy plains that are sparsely populated with trees. Various names of temperate grasslands include pampas, downs, and veldts. Temperate grasslands can be found in various regions north and south of the equator including Argentina, Australia. The grasslands have a very large latitude range, spanning from 55° N to 30° S. The average tempature is 5 degrees fahrenheit. It is important to design homes to be sustainable because its fun to build plus its a good project to do.

I made my home by using lots and lots of cardboard. I decided to use cardboard because that was the most thing I had in my house. I also wanted to use cardboard because that was the most easiest thing I could do.

One of the techniques I used was to get some pieces of cardboard what connected to eachother and go from there. I also wanted it to look a little fun while I was doing it to. I also added a bed which is made out of tissues.

I added some windows, and I also added a sliding door, a well, a living room and bedroom. I am also adding a patio too the front. A driveway, and a garden. I also added lighting too it so we have light during the night.The windows were for that there is light in the house during the day. A sliding door is for getting into the house. Lighting is for them to have light at night time. A living room is for them to stay there during the day, and the bedroom is for them to sleep there. A well is for them to get water. A patio is for them to walk into from the front door. And the driveway is for them to drive too.

In conclusion I learned that sustainable houses are very fun to build. I also learned about that biomes are very intresting and its fun to learn about. I think I could improve by building better, and using better materials. Its very fun to build when you know what your doing!
