Breakfast Sandwich (Easy, Quick, Customization!)
As you have probably heard in your life breakfast is one of the most important meals of your day, so why not make it quick, easy, and tasty!
I came up with this idea one day when I was in a hurry to go somewhere but I had no time to make a meal and I was starving, so I came up with this delicious idea!
Also this sandwich can be easily fixed to anyone's liking! So if you dont want it as a breakfast sandwich with breakfast meats (bacon, sausage, ham, etc.) you can have it as a lunch/snack sandwich with lunch meats (turkey, chicken, dried beef, etc.). Heck you could even make this a dessert sandwich and make it like french toast with whatever sweet things you want in it (Fruit, Jams, etc.)!
Supplies
Today I am going to make the breakfast sandwich!
For this you will need:
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Tsp of preferred milk
- Salt and pepper to liking (or whatever seasonings desired)
- 2 Slices of desired bread (I'm using white bread)
- 2 slices of desired cheese (I'm using American Cheese)
- Desired amount of desired meat (I'm using bacon that I had leftover in my fridge)
- Butter or oil (for pan if needed)
Egg Mixture
For this step you will need your eggs, milk, seasonings, butter/oil, bread, and a pan.
The first part of this is to make your egg mixture. All you need to do is mix your eggs, milk, and seasonings in a cup.
Then add your butter/oil to the pan (if needed), Turn on heat to medium.
Add egg mixture to pan.
The Bread Flip
Place your 2 pieces of bread into the pan to coat one side of the bread in your egg mixture, then flip onto the other side of your bread so one side is in the egg mixture and the other is coated.
Cook your egg the way you like.
Flip eggs and bread over, so it is like an un-folded omelet with bread under it.
Add Toppings
After I had flipped the soon-to-be sandwich over I placed my toppings!
First things first is to add cheese(this helps it get closer to the heat and makes it nice and melty.
Then I add my bacon (or whatever meat you want, just make sure it is cooked!)
Making It a Sandwich
This part is definitely my favorite part because its when you really see the whole thing come together!
Take one half of the sandwich (careful they are probably still connected with the egg) and gently flip onto each other (toppings touching!)
Next i cook the bottom of my sandwich until desired color, then flip to other side and repeat.
The Final Step
Next grab your plate (or whatever your using to hold your sandwich) and finally slice it in half diagonally! (optional but aesthetically pleasing!)
Finally enjoy!! If you do make this in your own way I would love to see it!!
