Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast casserole is a favorite meal in my household and more people need to know about it. So yummy!
Supplies
Ingredients
- 8-10 eggs
- 2 Cresent Roll Packages
- 1 pound of maple sausage (or regular)
- 16 oz block of Velveeta cheese
- Half cup milk
- Salt
- Pepper
- 4 tbsp of Butter
- Pam spray
Utensils:
- 2 Skillets
- Casserole pan
- 2 Spatulas
- Wooden spoon
- Mixer bowl
- Stove and Oven or Airfryer
Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cook Sausage
Add the whole pound of sausage to the pan, chop it into small pieces, and cook until it is golden brown. If there is grease, then drain it. Set aside for a minute.
Cook Eggs
Add eggs to an empty pan and scramble them. Add in salt and pepper. Set aside for a minute.
Roll Out Crescent Roll
Spay the pan with pam spray, take the crescent roll, and roll it out onto the bottom of the pan.
Add in Sausage & Eggs
After the sausage and eggs are cooked, evenly spread them out on top of the rolled-out crescent roll.
Add Cheese
Cut cheese slices off the Velveeta block and add a layer of cheese on top of the sausage and egg.
Roll Out Crescent Roll + Add Butter
Roll out the second can of crescent roll and place on top of casserole and spread out about a tablespoon of melted (or room temp) of butter on top of crescent roll.
Place in Warm Oven
Place in the prepped 350-degree oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the crescent roll crust is golden
Let It Cool
Pull casserole out of the oven and let it cool for 20 minutes before serving
Meal Prep
This will prep for around 3-4 days worth of meals so grab containers and separate.
