Have you ever wanted to hang small gifts from a tree? I had this wonderful idea and it is not really complicated. ok... maybe a little. This is my first time adding something so please leave comments to help me along and about what you think. Thank you.

Materials

cardstock
scissors
ruler
yarn (any color)
tape ( clear or duct tape)
gift wrap ( optional)
pencil or pen

The Outline

So you are going to draw the outline of a cube. It is hard to explain so I supplied a picture. You will want the box to be the size of the gift. You also want all your boxes on the layout for the cube to be about the same size.

Decorate

there are many ways to decorate this. you can color, use duct tape, or even cut out gift wrap and paste it on to the diagram. I will show you one decorated diagram I made.

Cut

use the scissors to cut out the diagram like the picture shown.

Lable

if it is a gift for someone you want to label it. so put the label on before we continue.

Yarn

use yarn to make hanger and closer. I used pictures to show how. If you can't get it to close you might have to put tape at the end.

Inserting Gift

open the box, insert the gift, and reclose the box.

Hang It Up
