Bottle Cap Coasters

These coasters are quick and easy. They are are good way to recycle your bottle caps and reduce the amount of plastic waste you produce, whilst protecting your tables from the marks made from cups and mugs.

Materials

Pick the Shape

Using a cup or mug as a guide, design the shape of the coaster that you want to make.

Make sure that it is big enough to fit different sized cups/mugs

Glue It Together

Once you have the design figured out, use the hot glue gun to glue it together, making sure to work quickly before the glue cools

Because of the shape of the caps that I used, I had to place the glue at the bottom of the side of the cap, to make sure that they stuck together

You now have finished bottle coasters.

I decided to leave my coasters multi coloured, but as an option you can paint the coasters the colour of your choice.
