Welcome to the world of Bosnian cooking. Today I am going to be showing you how I make my favorite Bosnian dish. I grew up eating this and I prefer it before anything else. My mom made it for me since I was little up until now, and i wont ever stop eating it. Once you get a load of it, you will see what I'm talking about and you're going to be wanting more of it. So you will learn here how to make it!

For step two, you're going to dice the potato and the unions and out them in a large bowl. then you're going to put the ground beef in the bowl along with salt.

Mix!

For step three you're going to mix all the ingredients together thoroughly so it can look like this. Make sure it has enough salt in it!

Flour Patties

For step four, i couldn't get a picture of the ingredients in a bowl because i didn't have time. But i put the flour in a bowl with a cup of water and a tables spoon of salt and i mixed it together until i got it all together in one piece. and then i separated them into flour patties like so and put oil on them and let them sit there.

Lay Out

For step five you need to get any clean table cloth you have that's big enough to cover your whole table. i went to the store and bought a new bed sheet because it always works for me! So I laid out the bed sheet over my table and then grabbed one of the flour patties and put it in front of the table and i started stretching it. You want to get it stretched out as far as you can. Then the fun part starts to kick in! You start laying the filling inside the dough like so.

Rolling

For step six, you start rolling your filling and your dough like i did up here. If it gets a little tough you can pick the bed sheet up and use it to help you roll.

Rolling and Cutting

For this step all you do is roll your long rolls into a cinnamon roll look alike. You might see that your rolls will have a thicker crust on the ends, so just cut them off.

Final Results!

Okay so for the final step you need to bake the pita in 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes and then let them cool off when they are done. Then you get to eat them! We usually put sour cream on top of it and eat it like that. So i recommend you guys to try it!!
