Bones & Skulls Candies

As I said on my other Halloween instructable, in my country we don't usually celebrate Halloween... but I do anyway! So a couple of years ago I made these candies. They're super easy to make. You certainly already have all the ingredients at home.

INGREDIENTS:

- Sugar

- Water

For every 25g of sugar you need a spoon of cold water.

Put both ingredients in a pot (for a better result use a non-stick pot) and let it boil. First it will become a syrup. Then it will slowly become darker and thicker. Don't stir it with a spoon: you should move the pot instead. When the candy becomes brown it's ready. DON'T let it get dark brown, because it will also become bitter.... and disgusting!

Now go get the mould ASAP because you must pour the candy quickly on it.

Throw the liquid candy on the mould. Wait some minutes and put the mold in the fridge a few hours until it's hard.

Once they are hard take them carefully out of the mould and eat them! Also, be careful with your tooth because they are quite hard... you'll probably want to lick them as lollypops to avoid breaking some teeth!

Happy Halloween!
