Materials:
- Scissors
- X-acto knife
- Cutting Mat
- Duct Tape
- Pencil
- Hot glue gun
- Binder clip
- Bobby pins
- 2 Foam sheets, each measuring 8 1/2 inches by 6 1/2 inches
The Base
Once you have decided the main color of your bobby pin wallet, fold the foam sheet in half, hamburger style. Refer to the photos if you are unsure of the concept of hamburger style. Open the sheet back up.
Next, take your complementary colored sheet of foam. Place it on one of the halves of the main foam sheet, and decide how large you want the bobby pin holder to be. Mark an outline of a small rectangle using a pencil. After doing so, cut the rectangle out, and use it to cut an identical second rectangle.

Cutting and Pasting
Fold one of the small rectangles in half hotdog style, or lengthwise. Cut many slits down the fold. These cuts will be the basis for holding the bobby pins, so make plenty. Repeat with the second rectangle.
Now heat up your hot glue gun. Squirt a glue dot in each corner of a small rectangle and in the middle of the longer sides. Paste it in the center of one of the halves of the base foam sheet. Repeat with the second rectangle, pasting it onto the other half of the foam sheet.

Filling and Clipping
Fill your wallet with as many bobby pins as you would like. Next, fold the wallet shut. To keep it closed, find a decorative binder clip, and clip the wallet shut.
Decorative Lettering
To add some decorative flair, break out your most prized duct tape. For me, it is Platypus purple polka dot duct tape, which has a texture like no other brand of duct tape. Rip off a strip of duct tape and stick it to your cutting mat. Using a pencil, write in bubble letters your message. Then, using an X-acto knife, carefully cut out your extraordinary lettering. One by one, stick the letters to your wallet in an orderly fashion.
Before long, a gorgeous bobby pin wallet will emerge with eye-popping lettering on the front!
