Board for the Game Aggravation
I redesigned the board for the game Aggravation. I made the board bigger, made it to where you have 5 characters and making the pathway from start to home bigger and longer.
Supplies
Fusion 360 to make the game board and a marble to play the game.
The Board
In step 1 you will start by creating a new component and naming it Game Board. Next, I made the board by clicking create sketch in the solid tab, the board is a square and the dimensions for it are in inches 30 by 30. I then extruded the board 0.5 of an inch. The picture above is what it should look like.
Adding the Center Circle
In step 2 you will start by clicking create sketch and you will click on the center diameter circle option. When that is activated, you will find the middle of the board and put a 0.50-inch circle, after it is set there, you will extrude it -0.125 inches into the board so that a marble can be put in the board when its time. The picture above is what the board should look like so far.
Adding the Game Pathway
In step 3 you will be making the path for the marble game pieces in the game. You will start by using construction lines to put sections on the board that way it is easier to make the pathway even throughout the whole board. Then you will choose one corner of the board to make the path, and after you finish making it in the corner it should look like the picture. When you have chosen the corner that you are going to do the path in, you will start by making a 0.50-inch circle. Then you create a pattern/pathway that you want using the rectangular pattern in the sketch tab under the create drop down. Once you have the desired pattern then you are going to extrude all the circles -0.125 inches, and it is going to be negative because you want to extrude them into the board not out of the board. Your board should look like the picture after you are done with this step.
Finishing the Pathway
In step 4 you will be moving the pathway, so it joins together and goes all the way around. In step 3 you made the desired pathway and extruded all the circles and now you will be using the circular pattern option to join it together. You can find the circular pattern option in the solid tab under the create drop-down then go to the pattern drop-down and you will see a circular pattern option and that is the one you will use. The circular pattern option will make it so the work that you did in one of the corners will be moved on the whole board, by doing this it saved time so that you didn't have to do the design on the whole board. That is all that you have to do after you have finished all four steps your game board should look like the picture above.
