Bluetooth Speaker Kit

This is a Bluetooth speaker made from a kit. Soldering was used to assemble most of the speaker.

Supplies

Needed items include the components from the kit, soldering iron, flux, and a wire stripper. Additionally another person would be helpful in the process of assembling the box

Starting PCB

Collect all the resistors in the kit. Identify which resistor is for what section. Next take the IC and place it so the notch is following the same direction as the notch on the PCB. Install all of the LEDs with the long end being positive put all but D11 and bend over the board at the designated areas then but D11 in all the way to it spot. When cutting the ends keep some of the sections for later. Install the transistor at Q1, the mic at MK1 and the capacitors C3 and C2. Get a wire set and cut the end with the white cover and strip a segment away. Solder one end into the PCB. Grab the shell and remove the protective film and install the pillars on the shell to elevate the PCB. Get the Audio controller and solder the wires from the PCB to the designated spots.

Wired Connection

The previous step should end up looking like this. You will then grab the speakers and 2 more wire sets this time keeping the white cover on and soldering the open wire end to the labeled ports on the speaker.

It should look like this. Now repeat for the other speaker. Once both speakers have been soldered get the smallest shell pieces and put the speaker on one side of the shell then bolt it down using the larger of the nuts and bolts.

Speakers

Once both sides are done you will have 4 of the 6 side complete. Now there should be a shell piece with 2 holes in it. This is the back of the box. Take the power port and the on/off switch and place them into the spaces. Once they are put using the last of the wire segments cut about 3 mm off of the red side and solder it between the switch and port. Now with the remainder of the wire attach the black side to the port and the red to the switch. Now connect the white covers to the audio controller in the order from left to right being, power, speaker, speaker. Now assemble the rest of the box using the smaller nuts and bolts. This final step is easier with another person or something to hold the nuts in the correct space.

In the end it should look like this. After completing it plug it in and test if it works.
